eagle scouts projects
Eagle Scouts interested in railroading can opt to adopt a car and supervise renovation. For example, a Denver and Rio Grande Western flat car, once used to haul the material and granite for the construction of the "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier", was restored by Philip Hyde of Friendswood as his Eagle Scout project. The Museum will provide all materials needed for the project.
