The Galveston Island Railroad Museum owned and operated by the Center for Transportation and Commerce,
is a 501 (c)(3) non profit corporation.
As such, we rely on donations to keep our exhibits maintained, preserved, operable, and available to railfans.

With the generosity of friends and supporters, we strive to build interpretive programs and exhibits,
provide high-quality services to our guests year-round, preserve railroad history and fulfill our mission.
By contributing, you are helping to preserve a part of our rich rail heritage.

Individuals and corporations can contribute to the Museum in a variety of ways. We encourage you to
contact either Morris, the Executive Director or Sandi, the Marketing Director / Events Coordinator for
information or to discuss your individual needs. We can be reached at galvrrmuseum@sbcglobal.net .
