All prices on programs and admissions are subject to change without notice. It is strongly suggested that you call the Museum prior to your visit, many times special events will occur or other occurrences beyond our control may change the Museum's posted schedule and also for addition information and to clarify program pricing.
American Express, Visa and Master Card are accepted.
Reduced rates are available for group tours, schools and day care groups. The Museum is also a popular setting for convention activities, receptions and special events.

Parking
With the exception of special events, parking in the Museum's parking lot is free and is available for the day allowing you to also visit the Strand's Historical District. The parking lot is located on Santa Fe Place between 26th and 28th Street.
Location
The Museum is located at the corner of 25th Street and Santa Fe Place near the Port of Galveston in The Strand's Historical District. From the Mainland, take I-45 and continue straight (I-45 will become Broadway Avenue), turn left on 26th Street, turn left on Santa Fe Place and the Museum's free parking lot will be on your right.
Dining
The Whistle Stop Cafe is located near the People's Gallery inside the Museum and offers numerous menu options and a large variety of dining establishments are located within walking distance in the Strand's Historical District as well as throuhout Galveston Island.
