What looks like debris piled up
is actually history lost........
is actually history lost........

Telephone booths........ rusting
Dumped in the mud......
De-humidifing the building
Comforting one another?
The pictures on these pages do not do justice to the damages and loss that the Railroad Museum has suffered............. the mud is deep and the stench takes your breath away.
Even the seasoned clean up crews shake their heads and offer the deepest of sympathy as they walk past....... some have even offered money to help with the restoration, others offer a sympathetic pat on the back............. all are most appreciated!
As I stand amongst the rubble of what once was a thriving Museum, I can't help but remember those that have visited and thanked us, and I am reminded of an old quote.........."This too shall pass...........", we are committed to rebuild & restore....
We would like to thank everyone for the emails, the words of encouragement, the offers of help and even the sympathetic pat on the back........
