Students from Midway High School in Waco, TX came and volunteered to help us out. These students and chaperones worked hard in every corner of the Museum! We are not only grateful but proud to have them do this.... Thank you very much!!
They painted on the #314 steam engine, picked up bags of trash, scraped peeling paint out of the fountain, helped clean one of the railcars, and helped put the damaged steps back up to the display car and all with a song in their hearts and a smile on their face!
What a pleasure it was to spend time with these students and their chaperones!
